How it works

Working with us is straightforward. Here is exactly what happens, from choosing a service to putting your improvement plan into action.

  1. 1

    Choose your service

Pick the audit or review that fits your kitchen, from a quick documentation review to a full-day improvement visit. Not sure which suits you? Ask us and we will point you the right way.

  2. 2

    Book a suitable date

Choose a time that works around your service. We agree the date, confirm your exact price, and take a small deposit to hold the slot.

  3. 3

    Receive an on-site assessment

We arrive, introduce ourselves to your responsible manager, and assess your kitchen calmly and thoroughly, the way an environmental health officer would, but on your side.

  4. 4

    Get a prioritised improvement plan

You receive a clear, risk-rated write-up with practical actions ranked by priority, so you know exactly what to fix first.

What to expect on the day

  • A calm, professional walk-through of your kitchen and storage areas.
  • A review of your records, procedures and day-to-day practices.
  • A friendly conversation with your responsible manager about how things run.
  • Photographs of any findings, taken only with your permission.
  • A short verbal summary of the main points before we leave.

What you receive afterwards

  • A written report covering what we assessed.
  • Risk-rated findings, so you can see what matters most.
  • A prioritised list of practical actions, in a sensible order.
  • Clear next steps you can share with your team.

We help you prepare and improve. This is independent support, not an official council inspection, and we never guarantee a Food Hygiene Rating.
